BUT, the cover has the shifter several inches farther forward (IIRC). Otherwise, the Tcase flange/shaft and bellhousing are identical. Alaska sucks. Don't move here. It snows in July. The street driven first of NV4500 (technically second gear like the SM465) will perform almost exactly like the SM465 only with a slightly lower axle ratio and of course overdrive.
