WebHas anyone with Optical Flares been able to use the 3D occlusion feature where you set a foreground layer (such as a text layer) and the flare will blink out when it passes behind the foreground layer? I have tried it several times and watched the Video Copilot tutorial several times and can't get it to work. WebJun 11, 2012 · Duplicate the flare layer and then go to options of optical flares effect and choose IRIS from basic presets. In IRIS just change the SHAPE TYPE to TEXTURE and choose TEXTURE IMAGE as LIGHT DOME. Then in end add some animation by giving some value to FLICKER. And don’t forget to put your text layer in FOREGROUND layer.
